FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO JUMP?

The minimum age to bounce at Bounce Village is 5 years old. We have alternative sessions tailored to fit the needs of the little ones. Please check our "Pricing and Times" tab for more information.

WHAT AGE DO YOU HAVE TO BE BEFORE YOU CAN VISIT BOUNCE VILLAGE ON YOUR OWN?

Children under the age of 12 must be supervised at all times by a parent or responsible adult, however those over the age of 12 years can visit on their own. Please be aware however that our online Risk Awareness Form MUST be completed and signed by a responsible adult. Everyone wishing to bounce at Bounce Village will also need to attend the Safety Video and Briefing prior to bouncing and sign their Risk Awareness Form.

DO YOU HAVE ANY AGE OR ABILITY SPECIFIC TIMES?

During General Bounce Sessions, anyone over the age of 5 years can bounce as long as either they, or a responsible adult over 18 years old, have signed the Waiver and Safety Acknowledgement. We offer different sessions for other age and ability groups. For more information please see our "Pricing and Times" tab.

DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?

It is not necessary to book in advance, however due to the fact that there are limited spaces per hour we recommend that you do book in advance to avoid disappointment. As you can imagine, weekends and school holidays are the busiest times, so during these times it is a good idea to book well in advance. For Bookings, please click on BOOK NOW on our Home page or alternatively please call 01702 549010

DO I HAVE TO SIGN A RISK AWARENESS FORM?

YES! You will not be able to bounce if you (or an appropriate adult if you are under 18 years old) have not signed a Risk Awareness Form. Please check out our "Risk Awareness Form" tab. You will also be required to watch our Safety Video.

DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE A RISK AWARENESS FORM EVERYTIME I COME TO BOUNCE?

Unfortunately you will and also watch our Safety Video, but we do intend to make it as interesting as we are able to and remember safety is our number one priority.

CAN SOMEONE ELSE’S PARENT COMPLETE A RISK AWARENESS FORM FOR ME?

Yes. The parent/guardian making the booking will be responsible for completing all Risk Awareness Forms for those jumping under the age of 18.

DO YOU HIRE OUT TO GROUPS AND SCHOOLS?

We do offer the option to hire out the facility to groups and schools. Please contact us for costs and more information.

I DON’T HAVE A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD. CAN I PAY WHEN I GET THERE?

Online/Telephone bookings will need to be paid for at the time of booking, however if you aren’t able to do this, you can book and pay at our reception. Please be aware however, that as with online bookings, unless you visit our reception to pre-book your spaces with enough time in advance, we are not able to guarantee that spaces will be available. This is especially the case at weekends and school holidays. So come in a pre-book early!

IS MY BOOKING REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE?

All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable if it is within 7 days of the event date.

WHEN DO I NEED TO ARRIVE?

You will need to arrive at least 15 minutes before your session starts to have plenty of time to check in and watch the Safety Video. This is particularly important during our busy times at weekends and during the holidays.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM LATE?

We will always try to accommodate you but, at worst, you could have a reduced time on the park as your hour would have already started. If places are available for a later period we will try and accommodate you.  You will ALWAYS be required to watch our safety video before going onto the park. Try to avoid this and aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before your bounce slot.

WILL I BE TOLD HOW TO USE THE PARK?

Yes. Safety is our number one priority and we also want you to be able to enjoy your experience to the full. Everyone who bounces here at Bounce Village will need to watch our Safety Video and sign a Risk Awareness Form every time they visit before they are allowed to bounce. You will also have a briefing on our Park Rules. This all takes place 15 minutes prior to your bounce slot, so please don’t be late as it may mean you could have a reduced bounce time or even lose your bouncing slot!

ARE THERE ANY WEIGHT OR HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS?

We currently do not have any weight or height limit restrictions for our general admissions.

DO YOU PROVIDE CHANGING ROOMS AND LOCKERS?

We provide secure lockers free of charge here at Bounce Village to store all your valuables/mobile phones etc. Please note however that lockers are used on a first come, first served basis and property is left in the lockers entirely at your own risk.  We do not have changing rooms for general use, but if you are a group who would need changing facilities, it may be possible we can make arrangements for this. Please contact us prior to your visit to discuss your individual needs.

CAN I HAVE MY PARTY AT BOUNCE VILLAGE?

Yes of course. Parties are great fun here at Bounce Village.  Please see our "Party Bookings" tab or call us on 01702 549010 for more information.

DO YOU HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS?

We have full wheelchair access to both the park and cafe levels.

WHO CAN BOUNCE AT BOUNCE VILLAGE?

We endeavour to make sure that anyone who wants to can bounce at Bounce Village and we are always pleased to discuss your individual requirements. There are however some instances where use of trampolines is not advisable. Therefore we ask that anyone who has a medical condition, is pregnant or who has any concerns, to first check with your qualified medical practitioner. Please see our "Pricing and Times" tab for specific session times.

DO I HAVE TO WEAR GRIP SOCKS?

Yes, due to our high safety standards, we require that everyone who bounces wears grip socks that are approved by our staff as these not only increase your grip on the trampolines, they reduce the risk of injury and friction and reduce cross contamination of transferable foot infections. We offer socks for £2 per pair

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Comfortable clothes should be worn for bouncing such as t-shirts, jogging bottoms etc. and for additional protection, we recommend long sleeves. No sharp objects such as belt buckles are allowed on trampolines. We advise that any sharp or loose jewellery should be removed before bouncing as this is for your safety. Our gripper socks must be worn in the trampoline area. These are available at  cost of £2 and are reusable until the grip wears off

I CAN’T SEE WITHOUT MY GLASSES, IS IT OK TO WEAR THEM?

Whilst we advise that bouncing is safer without any sharp objects, we do understand that glasses will sometimes need to be worn. If however you have safety goggles or wear contact lenses, these would be a better option.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO VISIT BOUNCE VILLAGE?

For those wishing to bounce, please see our "Pricings and Times" tab. If you just wish to visit the Village, there is no fee.

DO YOU HAVE BOUNCE FITNESS CLASSES?
